MY SERATO TUTORIAL

Posted: December 17, 2014 in Uncategorized

Hello, Here is my Tutorial on simple mixing in the Serato DJ Program from my podcast mix. Serato is paid program, which is used by many djs. The Program can be used on different platforms such as Turntables, CDJs and Controllers. Here in my tutorial, is simple mixing and beat matching of my favorite songs. It is the holiday season so I put two holiday songs in the mix.

Before you begin make sure all connections are connected. Check connections such as Power Cables, USB, and Audio Cables. Test volume levels before continuing on to the next step. Now that everything is set for mixing. We are now ready to mix. When preparing your playlist/crate sorting by Beat Per Minute (BPM) relatively choose what will flow in the other.

What Got Me Into DJing was hearing the DJ control the music by telling a story? And with your mix you want to tell a story. I am telling a story with my mix. The story of the beats syncing and sounding good is a story to tell.
